DRA (Debt Recovery Agents)

By Shanker Rajagopalan

The Debt Recovery sector is growing by more than 100% every year!

Become a collection/recovery agent for a bank and have a high-growth career!

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made it mandatory for every collection agent to:

  1. Take 50 hours (for graduates) or 100 hours (for undergraduates) of training from an IIBF accredited institute.
  2. Pass the certificate exam from IIBF.

This course aims:

* To improve functional knowledge in the areas of banking products, policies, processes, and procedures.

* To develop competency and soft skills for collection through fair practices.

The certification tests the candidates on various areas in debt recovery, RBI guidelines and ethics which include the knowledge of legal aspects of debt recovery, debt products, computers, functions of a debt recovery agent, skills and strategies for debt recovery and right and duties of a debt recovery agent.
